Sleep disturbances, whether as insomnia or excessive sleeping, are common, as are fatigue and a loss of energy. Many young adults with depression may experience feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt, have difficulty concentrating, and entertain recurrent thoughts of death or suicide.
